Our next make and take

So all of the girls will be getting a Glue Glider Pro in their kits this time and we will be altering them with paint, rub-ons, bling, stamps, etc...

I am just about finished with my sample...

Our next guest!

I am pleased to announce our next guest for Scrapbook Club!


Lorene Yost celebrates her 11th year in the Scrapbook and Paper Crafting Industry. Her love of papercrafting began at an early age. In 1993 she owned and operated
Open Invitation, a custom invitation studio. In 1998 she began her “scrapbooking career” as a salesperson for a major manufacturer. In addition to her sales position, she has created class projects and traveled the country teaching for Creating Keepsakes and various manufacturers. In addition to teaching at numerous consumer shows and conventions, Lorene has taught for CHA and CKU. She has been published in Creating Keepsakes Magazine; Craft Trends Magazine and several ideas books by EK Success and Pinecone Press. Lorene is the author of I’m Torn, Torn Art published by Pinecone Press.
She also has experience in product development. She recently created and designed the “Calendar Cube” distributed by Pinecone Press.
Lorene Yost is currently the principal of her own repping company and resides in Southern California with her husband Gary (whom she affectionately refers to as “Beloved”), their son Connor and Beagle named Coach. Lorene loves spending time with “her boys.” In her spare time, you can find her watching Doris Day movies, enjoying a huge bowl of P-Nut Butter and Chocolate or Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream. She is a self-proclaimed collector of shoes.
Lorene will be leading us in a really fun make and take with rub ons and bling to alter our glue glider pros! no excuse for taking the wrong one!

Here are the rest of the projects from our May 2009 meeting with special Guests Jenny Doh, Jana Holstein and Cheryl Waters. These women shared all things Sommerset with us and explained how the "getting published" process works. Cheryl provided an adorable tea dyed tag make and take with lots of cute ephemra. It was a wonderful meeting!

I cannot figure out how to make blogger stop turning my photos. I have even tried manually rotating them before I upload but for some reason, it still rotates them so if you have a rotating screen, you may want to try that :) Or just tilt your head a little :)

I will use photoshop to create the post next time so they are all straight. actually, next time I will take the photo of the person who created it holding the project! then we will know whoes is whoes because I forget :(
