Our next guest!

I am pleased to announce our next guest for Scrapbook Club!

Lorene Yost celebrates her 11th year in the Scrapbook and Paper Crafting Industry. Her love of papercrafting began at an early age. In 1993 she owned and operated
Open Invitation, a custom invitation studio. In 1998 she began her “scrapbooking career” as a salesperson for a major manufacturer. In addition to her sales position, she has created class projects and traveled the country teaching for Creating Keepsakes and various manufacturers. In addition to teaching at numerous consumer shows and conventions, Lorene has taught for CHA and CKU. She has been published in Creating Keepsakes Magazine; Craft Trends Magazine and several ideas books by EK Success and Pinecone Press. Lorene is the author of I’m Torn, Torn Art published by Pinecone Press.
She also has experience in product development. She recently created and designed the “Calendar Cube” distributed by Pinecone Press.
Lorene Yost is currently the principal of her own repping company and resides in Southern California with her husband Gary (whom she affectionately refers to as “Beloved”), their son Connor and Beagle named Coach. Lorene loves spending time with “her boys.” In her spare time, you can find her watching Doris Day movies, enjoying a huge bowl of P-Nut Butter and Chocolate or Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream. She is a self-proclaimed collector of shoes.
Lorene will be leading us in a really fun make and take with rub ons and bling to alter our glue glider pros! no excuse for taking the wrong one!

  1. I know the idea is to "flex our creative muscles" but were there any "assignments" from last time? I was browsing someone's blog and there was something about a 6x6 page about you, was that part of the swap or what we were supposed to do with the latest round of stuff, or an extra thing all together? I'm also hard at work at my envelopes, I made them but I see other people even embellished the envelopes, I'm going to have to think of something better now than just tracing and gluing :-P
